Serving children with dignity and LOVE

The Foster Love Project MissionFoster Love Project shows love in action to children impacted by foster and kinship
care through provision of goods, services, and support.

Foster Love Project began as a way to help provide dignity and care in the process for kids who experience foster care and to also provide support for kinship and foster families who are caring for the children making this transition. We work to encourage donations of new goods that will help kids who have to change their home with little to no warning, providing them with small comforts.

Volunteer With Foster Love Project

Our volunteers are a core part of loving our local foster youth. By dedicating your time to the Foster Love Project, you can help provide the support needed to help kids thrive!

We welcome families (children 16+), church groups, corporate groups, sports teams and more to help us sort donations, stock inventory, clean, and other miscellaneous tasks.

As a volunteer with Foster Love Project, your donation of time and labor will help make a major difference in the lives of children who are experiencing foster care.

At Foster Love Project, our volunteers are our most valuable asset, providing us with the assistance we need to ensure we reach the youth within the community and beyond that are in need of our services. No matter how much time you can give as a volunteer, every effort counts toward helping us achieve our mission of providing care and dignity to children experiencing foster care.

About Us & Our Founder

During her experience as a foster parent, Kelly Hughes became passionate about providing kids with more dignity and care as they experience foster care, so  Foster Love Project was created.

In 2014, the first FLP bag drive was held and since then we’ve distributed more than 17,000 FLP bags to kids.

  • Foster Love Project has blossomed into a resource for kids and families who are experiencing foster care, providing FLP bags, a free shopping center, education, and more.

Help for Foster Parents/Adoptive Parents

Resources for Caregivers

At Foster Love Project, we understand that children who have gone through the foster care or adoption process experience a level of trauma. To help foster/adoptive parents navigate this trauma and how it affects the way children experience the world, we have gathered resources to help you in this journey.
