April Perry is the lead principal at Propel Braddock Hills Elementary school who celebrates 21 years of educating urban youth, as a teacher, counselor, and administrator. She has many experiences serving families in the public and private sector as well as nonprofit foundations that focus on youth development, and community partnerships. April is driven by her strong belief that every child should have access to a high-quality of education and believes that every day that we step into a classroom is a tremendous privilege. “Never stop learning because life never stops teaching.” You’re apt to learn a thing or two when living your life in a classroom.
