Andre is a native of Pittsburgh, PA. He attended Duquesne University and the University of Phoenix for his undergrad and graduate studies. As father of 4 children and community stakeholder, he has been involved in violence prevention efforts, local/state government, and served on various non-profit boards to increase community connections.

Andre is the Owner/Lead Mental Health Therapist of

Ablevision was established in 2019 as an attempt to bridge the gap between necessary mental health services and the underserved populations of our area. Ablevision provides individual, family, couples, and group counseling and well as business and personal development. They aim to assist with improving the quality of life for those we are privileged to service.

Andre serves as one of our mental health therapists, providing support to our Teen Connections Group.

Carley joined Foster Love’s Teen Connections program as a mentor in January 2022. Her personal experience as an adoptee has fueled her passion for supporting initiatives and events associated with adoption and foster care. Having shared a similar upbringing, Carley empathizes with the children on a deep level, allowing her to connect with them in meaningful ways. Her ultimate goal is to instill a sense of pride in children who have been adopted or are currently in foster care. Outside of her philanthropic endeavors, Carley enjoys attending live music events, hosting cookouts, and going to the movies!

My name is Jess Murray, and I am a proud YINZER and adoptee.  I work in a few different roles, but most of my professional time is spent as a therapist and professor, and most of my personal time is spent keeping up with my 2 very energetic toddlers.

Why I am part of Teen Connections:  I have both personal and professional experience with adoption, and I believe in the healing power of shared lived experiences.  While each adoptee has a different story to tell that is unique to them, we are able to learn and grow from each other at all points along our journey.  It is my privilege to be a part of this group!
